Hello, there. What is this, some sort of update? Yeah, sort of.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide... media references. I have been reading of late: The Da Vinci Code, Twyla Tharp's Creative Habit, and a page a day of Systematic Theology. Still can't seem to get going on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as it's too heavy. That is, too heavy to carry around. (Dude, how much can you bench?) Still marvelling at For Whom the Bell Tolls... I swear, that Hemingway guy is gonna be HUGE someday. Finally got an iPod and have now experienced the grand ridiculousness of grooving to one's entire record collection, all at once, on shuffle. When not in a post-shuffle stupor, I've been keeping it on Mazzy Star, OutKast, Oasis, Justin Timberlake, Portishead and 311.
Playing the Epic Arts Teahouse on Saturday. Should be a fun one, and going it alone feels kind of Mentos fresh. See you there if I see you there.
